Training on Social Media Marketing and Promotion for Regional Entrepreneurs

"EV Consulting" company, in the frameworks of  "Partnerships for Rural Prosperity" (USAID / PRP) Program, implemented by the SME DNC of Armenia its partner organizations, implemented a training on the topic of "Social Media Marketing." .

During the two-day session an interactive teaching method was used to explain the planning, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategy in social media.

The training  was designed for small and medium-sized businesses which do not have an excessive budget to spend on hiring social media marketing specialists and can learn to run their own social media pages.

Training was conducted by the trainer from "International school of marketing," Diana Hovhannisyan, founder and director of "MAROG" marketing and creative agency. 
 

USAID/PRP is a five-year program, launched in August 1st, 2013 and funded by the US Agency for International Development. The Project aims to empower rural communities with economic growth perspectives through helping them identify economic value creation opportunities based on recognition of their competitive advantages, arming them with entrepreneurial skills to create sustainable business models; improving access to finance and markets; facilitating infrastructure upgrade; equipping them with appropriate skills and tools to protect environment and to mitigate man-made and natural risks; expanding employment prospects for women and youth.

The USAID PRP is implemented by the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center (SME DNC) in partnership with EV Consulting, Gegharkunik CCI, and CARD.
