Innovative Ideas for Gyumri Technopark and Venture Fund survey

Innovation street.JPGKPMG Armenia cjsc is conducting a survey of technology-oriented innovative ideas/projects for Gyumri Technocity and investment projects for the Venture capital/start-up support fund.

The survey is performed within the scope of the World Bank Grant to the RA Government for the preparation of the Technology Competitiveness Enhancement Project (also known as E-Society and Innovation for Competitiveness Project).

The main objective of the Gyumri Technocity project is to create small and medium sized business incubation cluster to ensure a favorable environment for the development and realization of innovative ideas/projects and for creation and development of start-ups in different technology sectors.

This survey aims to explore the innovative ideas/projects developed or being developed by individuals, teams and companies, that could be included in the scope of Gyumri Technocity initiative.

PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILITY

All individuals, teams and companies, regardless of geographical location and origin, who have an innovative idea/project and are willing to develop that idea/project in Gyumri Technocity are eligible to participate in the survey.

The results of this survey will be presented to the Enterprise Incubator Foundation. The ideas/projects identified during the survey will be considered in the future to be part of the E-Society and Innovation for Competitiveness Project, and the participants presenting those ideas/projects will become possible beneficiaries of the various types of support envisaged by Gyumri Technocity project. Among other things, the support is expected to be in the form of incubation premises, laboratories, consulting services for start-ups, financial assistance for research studies and business development.


PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

To participate in the survey a completed Participation Form must be received by mail or delivered by hand in a sealed envelope no later than 18:00 August 2, 2010 at either of the following addresses:
