New bee tourism (Apitherapy) services will be provided with EU support in Lori region of RA
Vigen Mnatsakanyan has been engaged in bee-keeping for more than 10 years getting support from his family members who are traditional beekeepers.
Vigen inspired with an idea to launch Bee tourism and especially intended to deal with apitourism using his knowledge and skills. He wanted to organaise bee tours, where tourists can observe bee keeping, honey squeezing and other actions related to bee keeping. In specially constructed api-houses, people can breathe the healing air of the hive, taste the teas from mountain herbs and relax, enjoying the sweet and relaxing aroma of bees and listening to their buzz. "Besides the tourists, start-up bee keepers also expressed interest in our center. We decided to help them and share our knowledge in bee keeping", Mnatsakanyan said.
To launch the new business and for it’s good management, Vigen Mnatsakanyan has participated in the “Successful Start” start-up business support program organized within SME DNC/EU “Boosting Competitiveness of regional SMEs” in September 2017. He has enriched his knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and gained comprehensive knowledge in management, marketing, production planning and in other important aspects of doing business.
